Teacher
Our Teacher, Patty Cheng, is loved by the kids for the warmth and respect she offers them and by the parents for her cheerful support,
understanding, and wonderful parenting tips.
Patty has directed our preschool since 1986 after earning a degree in Sociology from the University of Washington.
Through continuing education, she builds on her knowledge of early childhood education.

Patty has two children and was formerly a participating parent at a cooperative preschool.
Patty's co-op experience, coupled with her education, confirmed her belief in the benefits
cooperative preschool provide to both parents and children through education and building community.
