Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form
Families without an existing Jovial account can access the registration form at www.jovial.org/shorelinecoop/register.
If you are unsure if you have an existing Jovial account, please contact the registrar.
If you have a Jovial account, the online registration form can be accessed from your Jovial Family Portal. This includes current families, alumni since 2017, and families who were wait-listed for a class since 2017.
Registration forms are processed in the order in which they are received and classes are filled in that order. If a class becomes full, a wait-list will be started automatically. There is no charge to be placed on a class wait-list
Step 2: Submit Registration Fee
Once you have received a Registration Confirmation email, please pay the non-refundable registration fee of $55 ($75 for two children). The registration fee is due within 2 weeks of completion of the online registration form. Your spot is not secured until the registration fee has been received.
You may bring or mail a check to the preschool, written to Shoreline Cooperative Preschool. In the memo line please note your child’s full name and what the payment is for. Checks may be mailed to:

You may also submit your payment via the Jovial e-payment system (fees will apply). You can access the e-payment system through your Jovial Family Portal. Please email the Treasurer if you have questions about this payment option.
Step 3: Complete Additional Forms
Per Washington state law, Immunizations must be up to date for your child’s age to attend school. If you have questions about immunization requirements, please review the following list: Parent Form of Vaccine Requirements 20-21. Your child cannot attend school without documentation of all required vaccines, unless there is a Certificate of Exemption on file.
Immunization records must be one of the following:
- Certificate of Immunization Status signed by a doctor/healthcare provider
- Certificate of Immunization Status filled out by a parent/guardian with medical records attached
- Certificate of Immunization Status printed from myIR.net
- Certificate of Immunization Status printed from the state immunization system by a school or healthcare provider
- Certificate of Immunization Exemption

Shoreline Community College Parent Education Form
We will email you a link to complete the SCC Parent Ed Form. Every child enrolled at SCP has a parent or caregiver who is enrolled at SCC and earns college credit for their participation at our preschool. The quarterly fee added to the SCP tuition goes to the college. Registration at SCC (and the corresponding fee) is mandatory. The link to the form will also be available through your Jovial Family Portal.
Step 4: Confirmation
When we receive your completed online registration, registration fee, immunization form, and SCC parent ed form, you will be notified via email by our Registrar that your spot has been confirmed. We need a complete packet to ensure your registration at our preschool.
Closer to the start of the school year, you will receive emails with further details and instructions including the school handbook, schedules, parent orientation meeting, and tuition. You can also check your Jovial Family Portal for updates.
